What is Big Help Mob?
Big Help Mobber's are hundreds of young people across Perth who get together to do superhuman acts of awesomeness, helping non-profits and communities in Perth achieve something only 100's of helpful people can.
One day it's planting 10 000 trees in a few hours, the next it's cleaning up a place that's been forgotten and trashed or performing a ridiculous flash mob in public to draw attention to a good cause that needs it. Nothing is too big for Big Help Mob and we're not afraid to get our hands dirty... all 200 of them.

KATIE O'HALLORAN
Covert Operations
Katie is madly factoring in fun, predicting every possible outcome for every situation and adding some controlled chaos to Big Help Mob. She has all fingers, toes and eyes crossed that everything will go just fine, but has a battle plan (just in case) to whip things back into line. Passionate about people, planning, pirates and post cards, Katie currently studies mind reading at Murdoch.
MEGAN SMITH
Keeper of the Lists
Megan likes lists. She makes lots of lists. Logistics require lists, which made Megan keen to be part of Big Help Mob’s Logistics team. Lists have helped Megan finish her biology degree, plan travel around the world and organise her weekends. Lists help facilitate Megan’s slightly obsessive attention to detail. When she’s not busy making lists, Megan likes to play netball and sit in the sunshine. One day, Megan would like to fulfill a life-long dream of seeing a Thorny Devil in the wild.
TIM KENWORTHY
Sort- of- Managing- Director- Person
Tim is a person who wants to do everything at once and then realises that his legs are pretty average at going in any more than one direction at a time (which is pretty disappointing really, they should really work on leg design to accommodate going in multiple directions at once). This desire to be involved in art, music, engineering, making, activism, volunteering and other things is largely responsible for him becoming a jack of all trades and master of none. He has a degree in Polynomial Eggplant Psychology and Discbrakes from Amon Lancaster's Flykick Academy and is currently acting Emeritus to the Grand Mufti of Norway. As Sort-of-Managing-Director-Person of Youth Tree he ponces around with an admiral's hat on shouting orders and brandishing a large, important briefcase containing large, important documents. Tim enjoys getting through all his emails and talking to his dog about cauliflower.

Image making superhuman bionic robot. May have some or all of the following qualities: an overactive imagination, a non-satiable appetite for creativity, strange too frequent cravings for popcorn, a never ending 'to-do' list, a big love for cartoons, cities and sneakers, massive passion for art and design, memory like a goldfish, compulsive list making habits and mass notebook collection.
NATALIE BLOM
Photo and High Five Supplier
Natalie is a fully fledged camera freak. She has completed 2 years at TAFE studying photography. She specialises in alternative film processes and has a softspot for anything low-fi. Equipped with this knowledge she found Youthtree as a practical way to make a difference. Natalie is inspired by mixed media artists, powerlines and the sunlight an hour before sunset. She can be found kicking around the Scotto in sneakers, camera in hand.
MELISSA JAIMES
Film Co-Director
Melissa is a dynamic girl, proactive, cant sleep, loves sleeping, cant stay just watching tv, though loves movies...Is very into social Justice! she wishes equality, fairness, tolerance to be the universal values of this world. However, is not easy just wishing! Therefore Melissa is working hand by hand with Youth Tree recording cool stuff and involving more people to the cause throughout film and film and film ;) Musically inspired, visually talker, loves friends and family!
BASHA STASAK
Mission Control
Basha is a Law & Business student who loves to travel (to the detriment of her bank account). When she is not exploring far-flung places Basha likes to cram in as much volunteering and activism as possible and is involved in various organisations including the National Union of Students, Australian Youth Climate Coalition, Human Rights Arts & Film Festival and of course Youth Tree! In her spare time she can be found at the cinema watching movies. As Big Help Mob’s Mission Control B she spends a great deal of time talking on her super important looking walkie-talkie. Basha hopes to be a Doctor Who companion when she grows up.
